Il Manseco – Poderi Girola in Calliano
For over a century, the family Girola owns vineyards on the gentle slopes of Calliano, a few miles from Cascina rosa b&b, one of the most valuable areas in Italy for the cultivation of the vine. The property “Poderi Girola” covers 5 hectares ideally suited to viticulture thanks to the limestone-clay soils and a very favorable microclimate: it produces DOC wines, Barbera, Grignolino and Chardonnay. The last come is a sparkling Brut: elegant and fragrant, the result of a ‘blend of grapes Pinot noir and Chardonnay.
